DIVORCE FOR GWYNETH PALTROW?

What a mess! These two people love each other, and they both have astrology charts that totally suck with a strong emphasis on anger. So bottom line is they are fighting. She has supposedly moved out. What a shame. Will they be smart enough to get through this? I tell my clients all the time -- if anyone is married for 30 years, they have gone through negative progressions and survived them.

Gwyneth, who won her Oscar and got married on a positive Jupiter progression, has a negative one today. Her progressed Venus (love) is square (negative) her progressed Jupiter (blows things out of proportion). And just to make the situation crazier, her focal planet (two oppositions squared by the focal planet) is mutable Mars. She has a ton of energy (Mars), it just gets scattered (mutable) around a lot. Very strong-willed, it's hard to reason with her and she likes risky behavior. Recently her progressed Mercury (communication) was conjunct Neptune so it's possible she discovered a lie -- which is ironic because she lies with her Neptune (lies) opposing (negative) her Moon (feelings). One of the most obvious of her lies is the fact she worshipped her father. No, she didn't. She's angry with him (even though he passed away) and undoubtedly, that's why she's unhappy with her husband -- something Chris did that her father did or reminded her of her father's relationship with her mother. And being a Libra Sun, she doesn't even like arguing -- it's just a cycle and it will pass. But good things can come out of it -- like a resolution to the father issues. With her progressed Venus sitting on her Sun, I know, she would like to see this work out.

Chris Martin, her husband and a member of Coldplay, is a sweet guy if you don't get to know him too well. His Sun sign is Pisces which matches Gwyneth's rising sign. Libra/Pisces is inconjunct to each other and as such doesn't make a strong aspect.  Another person with too many focal planets to effectively resolve, his are in a Grand Fixed Square (all the fixed planets represented, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio & Aquarius). Fixed Moon makes him sensitive on the inside rarely allowing people in, fixed Mars, again, gives a lot of energy and wilfulness, but with little desire to change, fixed Jupiter makes him a crusader, but one that is inflexible, fixed Saturn is ambitious to the point of being compulsive and doesn't like to be challenged, fixed Uranus is the law-unto-himself (don't question him), and finally fixed Pluto indicates much focus and remarkable determination to stick to a single course of action. Arguing with this guy would be frustrating. He's stubborn.

Currently Chris's progressed Mars is conjunct his Sun. Both Gwyneth and Chris have Mars as a focal planet. So you can see how this turns into battles. And his progressed Mercury (communication) is square his Moon (feelings). So is he the person that lied to her or led her to believe something that isn't true?

This one is hard to predict, because of Chris' unwillingness to admit it might be partly his fault. And his inability to let someone else in. With this level of difficulty, I'm going to say it's probably over.
