DR. DYER'S STRANGE COMMENTS
I've been getting some criticism about my astrological analysis of Dr. Dyer. I know nothing about his work -- have never read a book he wrote, nothing. I just blog my interpretation of his astrology chart. So I thought I'd check his interviews to see what he has to say about himself.
When asked what his dharma is, Dr. Dyer said, "The purpose of life is to be happy."
When asked about his current illness, he said, " When you come into this world with big dharma, you get big challenges. This is just another one of them... I haven’t judged it or been angry with it. I am not worried about healing it. I am working to live with it. I think when you fight anything, you weaken yourself. I am inviting it to stay in peace and harmony with me or leave. It’s up to it. It’s just another life force."
He's inviting cancer to stay in peace and harmony. Cancer in peace and harmony? The cancer wants to kill him -- take over every cell in his body so that he can no longer function. And he's inviting it to stay. Is there such a thing as harmonious cancer?
"It's just another life force." Really, cancer is a life force?
Just from these comments alone and there are many more that I find confusing, I think it is reasonable to question his teachings. But I wasn't questioning his teaching. I was just questioning whether it is working for him.
Call me crazy, but if I get cancer, I'm not asking it to stay. My personal belief is that if you get cancer, besides looking for the possible negativity that caused it, you should refuse to give it credibility. The minute you agree you have it, you have given it permission to take up residence. I would practice The Law of Acceptance (which you can read about at thepsychicbubble.com) which starts out, "if I have cancer..."
