FARRAH FAWCETT'S LIFE -- DEATH
Farrah Fawcett rose to fame when when she married Lee Majors with her progressed Venus sextiling Jupiter. This was the best period of her life. However when her progressed Sun squared Uranus (the planet of divorce) in 1982, she left Majors and began a long relationship with Ryan O'Neal.
Therein, she made a big mistake. When one person's Moon is in the same sign as the other person's Sun, love feels fated. But it's not (in the positive sense) as in the case of Farrah and Ryan. Because their Suns are square to each other, hers in Aquarius and his in Taurus, the relationship will not work. These two signs communicate very, very differently. It's actually rare that you see squares trying to have a relationship.
So you have to wonder what it was that brought them together because it wasn't "love" -- not in the traditional sense. O'Neal has a history of being associated with drug use. Could that have been their bond?
Whatever it was, Farrah never reached her full potential. At the time "Charlie's Angels" became so popular, her chart shows problems with power and money. Is it possible that this 8th House Sun person (Other People's Money) preferred to be a housewife and mother and never really liked the spotlight all that much? But her relationship with O'Neal never really materialized the way she would have liked it to or something else was interfering with her judgment.
By 2006 when she was diagnosed with cancer she only had her progressed Venus square her Lunar Nodes, which are karmic. With Venus, it can be your beauty that is endangered as it would have been had she had a colostomy -- as her doctors advised. She refused probably due to the fact she had never really endeavored to be anything other than beautiful. When you have a predominance of 8th House and 12th House planets, you definitely may find yourself being faced with surgery and hospitals if one of these planets gets squared.
And then the cancer came back in June of 2007. But she still didn't have the mandatory negative progression until July 4, 2008 when her progressed Mercury squared Uranus in the 12th House. Prior to that on January 1, 2008, it conjuncted the transiting Uranus so this was actually the second hit. Next came the transiting Pluto. That happened Thanksgiving of 2008 when Pluto moved to Capricorn (after 13 years in Sagittarius) and opposed her natal Moon in Cancer in the 12th House. Cancer is ruled by Cancer and the Moon. You will never have cancer if it is not "promised" by the natal chart. And Farrah's chart has the possibility of cancer and she also has a family history of cancer. She should have taken this health scare very, very seriously. Why didn't she?
That's the question that isn't answered by her chart. You have free will, and the decisions you make determine your future. Astrologically, Farrah could have cured her cancer. It was a long time between 2006 and 2008. But she made decisions that caused the cancer to prevail until her chart was in a negative cycle. At that point, it was unlikely she could beat it.
