The Moon ruled by Cancer also rules the disease cancer which Penny currently has.
Her progressed Mars is opposition Uranus. And in six months, her progressed Sun will change to the sign Capricorn. This is a really difficult chart to work with when dealing with a progressive illness. But in a year, most of this will have passed and the progressed Sun hasn't reached a degree to make an aspect yet.
The situation is not hopeless. But most important, if she had known this negative chart was coming, much could have been done to prepare and give her the best results.
Best known for her character on "Laverne and Shirley," Penny gets her sense of humor from a natal Uranus/Saturn conjunction trining all her Libra planets. Childhood was most likely a difficult time for her with the south node in her 4th House of Home, and because she has her Moon in the 2nd House of Money, the lack of it was probably a driving force in her life.
My favorite movie directed by her was the true story "Awakenings" about people locked in time due to an epidemic of encephalitis until an experimental drug awakened them. For a Libra with only one water (sensitive) planet, Jupiter, she had to dig really deep to make this such a compelling story. It was nominated for Best Picture.
