TIMING THE ROYAL WEDDING
Westminster Abbey
Suzanne Colbert e-mailed me with the time of the royal wedding between Prince Charles and Kate Middleton. She read in a London newspaper that it was 11:30 AM London time. Her question was, do you use that time or the exact time the vows are exchanged? This is a difficult question, because astrologers love to argue about stuff like this. So in the end, you must use your own judgment.
We're constructing an event chart. And we're reading it like it is a person. So for me, the time the wedding begins is 11:30 -- although it might not start exactly then. And when do you start the clock? Let's say you are having a cesarian section, and you pick the time. Doesn't matter what time you picked. It's the time the baby takes its first breath. People ask me this a lot. And, yes, you can pick the time your baby is born and change the aspects. But that's back to The Theory of Relativity -- that in the spiritual universe, there is no time. So the soul, which appears at the time of the first breath, already knew you were going to pick the time, already knew the surgeon would be late, whatever. It is what it is.
But back to when to start the clock for the royal wedding. This is really tricky and could really be argued, but I'm going to say the time the bride steps out of the carriage (or other form of transportation), because she officially arrives at that time to the occasion. I'm equating arriving with the first breath. So we do need to be vigilant and watch her foot hit the ground!
But for fun, let's run the chart at 11:30 -- the time we believe to be on the invitation and the time she is saying she will be arriving. Anyone invited should already be seated. It would be rude to enter after the event has begun. This time gives us Leo rising. Leo is royalty so that seems quite appropriate. Anytime around this time would also be Leo rising. So this is one thing we can be pretty sure about. The Sun, Jupiter and Mars would be in the 10th House of Career. Especially important the Sun being there. This will be a "business" marriage according to this chart. Jupiter there means it will be successful. And Mars gives it energy.
With Saturn in the 3rd House of Communications (Saturn is restriction), William and Kate won't be communicating all that well. And that can also be predicted by the fact that his Mars squares her Sun and her Mars opposes his Sun. That is a sure bet for arguing. I was in a relationship like this, and we knew how to push each other's buttons. And we fought all the time. And it's the only relationship I have ever been in with anger. It was hell. I don't recommend it. I won't be doing it again. And I would swear my boyfriend had Mars in the 7th House of Libra because he was so passive/aggressive. Both William and Kate have Mars in Libra.
In Libra, Saturn also opposes Uranus, Venus, Mercury, Mars and Jupiter in Aries where all the planets not in the 10th are in the 9th House of Foreign Locations so this adds tension to all those planets. There may be a lot of traveling, a lot of diplomacy with other countries or one person may be away from home a lot. And with all that Aries, a lot of selfishness -- each wanting what they want and possibly being a bit immature about it.
The Moon in Pisces is also in the 9th so that is where the heart is -- in another country doing Pisces work, good deeds? But it could be argued (and with astrologers it would be) that William and Kate are foreign to each other -- one royalty and one a commoner. And Neptune in Pisces is in the 8th House of Other People's Money and Inheritances. If Prince William does become king, and with his unusual chart, I believe he was born to be king, it won't be what they expect it to be. And with this chart, it could be argued that he won't be king since that is an inheritance. But if she arrives at noon, Neptune will be in the 7th House of Partnerships. So there will be deceit surrounding this partnership. And I already think that is true.
The Pisces planets square the nodes in Gemini with the North Node being in the 11th House of Friends and Important People. The North Node is something you are given. That makes the South Node exactly opposite in the 5th House of Children along with Pluto in Capricorn. The South Node is where something is taken away. Pluto in the 5th is like Pluto in Leo. The definition for a person would be the possibility of being forced into marriage because of a pregnancy. But in this situation, it could mean being forced into marriage to have children. Children are associated with power since Pluto is power. And royal children since it is Leo. And they can be royal brats.
This chart is eerily on target. Changing the time won't change much more than moving a few planets into different houses. The whole world will be watching this event. But my readers will be watching her step from the carriage. We're going to know more than all the journalists commenting about their future -- more than they know. Thanks, Suzanne.
