Sarah Palin continues to say things that are hard to follow logically, and everyone is wondering why her energy is so erratic. But not anyone familiar with Aquarius, ruled by that crazy and unpredictable planet, Uranus.
Because her natal chart has so many squares from Neptune to all her Aquarius planets (Sun, Mars, Saturn, Moon and Mercury), there is a strong Neptunian (because it is a square - negative) influence to her strong Aquarius personality. If it were positive, that person would have tremendous creativity.
Another characteristic of these squares is that it can create a fanatical person - a zealot -- someone to which everything is either all black or all white without really taking the time to understand the substance of the matter. Neptune/Sun people lack perspective.
Neptune/Mars people often feel that people in authority are against them even to the point of doing things that ultimately are not in their best interest -- like quitting a job before it is over because of too many frivolous lawsuits -- or too many people questioning her ability.
While Neptune/Saturn people see their fathers in a manner not consistent with the reality of the situation. The Moon in a square to Neptune creates that same situation in relation to the mother. So Sarah Palin's family had a lot to do with her concept of the world and consequently her concept of how much influence Alaska has in Russian relations. You can see how if you don't understand the dynamics of a family, the way states and countries work would also be subject to convenient alteration.
And finally Neptune/Mercury portends a person who does not feel they need to present all the facts. And if anything goes wrong with their communication, it will always be the fault of the person listening. Because what she hears in her head is all the facts including the ones she isn't sharing. So when she makes a mistake speaking, she does not see it as her fault, but yours.
Overall, Sarah Palin despite her ability to make a compelling speech, doesn't have the emotional calm, stability or focus to be the person in power. She did Alaska a great service in quitting her job early. And, perhaps, she'll take the time to find the thing that she is really good at doing -- away from the public eye. Because until 2013, she continues to have a negative chart.
