It’s not the definition you get on the internet. Here’s how it works. A child is born into a family and he/she is told that the Sun and the Moon revolve around them. They are special. They are gods or goddesses. But it turns out that the child is ignored. So while the you’re better-than-everyone-else is being indoctrinated, the child is in actuality feeling lonely. How can you be a god and be invisible — this little soul asks? While the brain is still forming, there isn’t enough life experience to understand contradictions. So the child does the best they can with the only information they have — believing he/she is all that — as every child should. But almost always you will find that that the narcissist child has been neglected. It’s also more likely to happen to the most sensitive children. Because other children in the family can be fine or become narcissistic enablers.
And, yes, the color of your skin can have something to do with this phenomena. But so can being a woman. You are the center of your family’s existence, but society makes you feel unworthy. All narcs process information wrong. While on the surface they are quite conceited, underneath they feel like nothing. And just to stop the pain of the confusion, they completely cut off any feelings so that no one can ever contradict their views. That’s how your brain is gets wired. It’s almost impossible to re-wire.
This is the problem with telling your children they’re perfect. They know you don’t know that. Most little girls would never ever imagine that they could one day be royalty. For real. Most little boys would never imagine being president. Normal people are surprisingly critical of themselves. Most of us would be saying my breasts are too small. I have spindly legs. I didn’t go to a fancy college. The millions of eyes on you during a $55 million wedding would send you, the average person, into an emotional tail spin. And be incredibly humbling. Just the criticism alone would wither you.
But for a little narc, like Meghan Markle or Donald Trump, it’s game time!
They rise from the ashes of obscurity, and they squeeze every moment of attention for everything it’s worth — like they have been waiting for it all their lives! But they also have the drive and ambition it takes to get things done. Not in Meghan’s situation. She’s a lazy narc. But you get one like Donald Trump and shit happens. Just use one criteria when you wonder what he will do next. How much attention will he get from it?
An assassination attempt is the ultimate thrill for Donald. Now the people that hated you are walking on eggshells. Which is not to say it was orchestrated. Even the real mudslingers are not saying that. I admit I like it too. Don’t we wish there were real men out there that would show this display of courage? And be smart enough to run for president? And have a name that was known worldwide. And not have an ego that would say no to being vice president. I don’t know that happened when RFK Jr. went to Minnesota. But I’ll bet that conversation took place.
Instead we have J.D. Vance. I don’t have his rising sign so I’ll just say that without it, he’s not that bad? He’s a limelight loving Leo with Venus there. His Moon is in non-confrontational Libra but with Pluto conjunct, it’s also Scorpio. Mars also in Scorpio. He likes to fight. Probably will overrule passive Moon, but a lot of it is hype. Trump picked him because they are alike. Trump doesn’t want another Mike Pence. But, again, we’re back to how Trump makes decisions — with the fragile ego of selfdom. Is Trump thinking of his country? Ha, ha — ha, ha, ha!
