XTROLOGY PICKS OSCAR WINNERS

This was harder than I thought -- so many charts! But so interesting. Having the time of birth would make a huge difference (slightly changes the degree of the aspect) because some of these are close. So twenty charts later...

James Cameron, "Avatar" and Kathryn Bigelow, "The Hurt Locker" both have positive progressed Jupiter charts and both are up for Best Picture and Best Director. So that's a toss up. I don't see any significant differences in their charts. So, what the hey, I'm going with "Avatar" for Best Picture and Bigelow for Best Director -- split the difference.

Best Actor will go to Jeff Bridges, Sagittarius, whose Sun hasn't quite conjuncted his progressed Jupiter. However if it has passed, doubt it, Colin Firth, Virgo, would be my next choice.

Best Actress will most likely go to Sandra Bullock, Leo, with her positive Jupiter progression, but, interestingly, Helen Mirren, Leo, also has progressed Jupiter just slightly passed her progressed Neptune (which has changed signs). So if there is an upset, it should go to her.

Best Supporting Actor is the most controversial. Everyone is picking Christopher Waltz, Libra, but based on Xtrology, I'm picking Woody Harrelson, probably a Leo, who has an out-of-sign progressed Jupiter conjunct his natal Saturn, but every so slightly passed (which may not be true if I had the time of his birth). Second choice, Stanley Tucci.

Best Supporting Actress, without anyone with a Jupiter progression, I'm going with Mo-Nique due to her Sacred Symbol cards -- which is another system of divination altogether, but one I always use with my clients. My second choice would be Maggie Gyllenhaal.
