XTROLOGY SAYS HAITI IS DOOMED

If I were a psychic, I would have known to look at Haiti's chart. But, I'm an astrologer and there were so many more prominent countries that it never crossed my mind to look at this small and internationally insignificant country.

I'll list the negative aspects at the end of the blog, but this is as bad as it gets. What I was hoping to see, was that Haiti would come out of the earthquake of January 12, 2010 with a brighter future. After all Haiti is a Capricorn country and Pluto (the planet of transformation) is in Capricorn. You wonder why it is always the poor countries that keep getting disasters. The answer to that is that they are poor, because they don't have good aspects, and until one of those comes along, they will to continue to fail. If Haiti were a business, I would say, close it.

The transiting Jupiter (good fortune) will be moving into the sign of Pisces (compassion) in February (oops, January) and will conjunct Haiti's natal Pluto (transformation) in Pisces which trines Haiti's natal Jupiter. So that's the help we see coming. But overall, this disaster of Biblical proportions, won't be going away.

Here are the current progressions. Progressed Mars (the planet of destruction) is square (as bad as it gets) progressed Pluto (death) and inconjunct natal Sun. The progressed Sun (the country itself) is square Jupiter (luck, fortune) and inconjunct Mars. Progressed Mercury is square progressed Jupiter. Progressed Venus is inconjunct natal Mercury. Transiting Pluto is exactly conjunct natal Mars.

I don't see any radical transformation for Haiti anytime soon. The help that is pouring in will only be a temporary fix, if that. This country is in so much trouble, the only thing that could affect a transformation would be for another country to absorb it, giving it a new birth date and a new life. Sometimes you have to quit and start over. If Haiti had a visionary government, it would aspire to have a protectorate country -- at least until it gets back on its feet.
