My father’s favorite poem too. He typed it out when I was very young, laminated and then framed it and put it in my bedroom. It later resided in my son’s bedroom as he grew up. It’s now in my study, the paper yellowed and the print badly faded, but the words and the gift just as precious. It was a balm to the heart to see it here today. Thanks!
