WAYNE DYER'S HYPOCRISY
I was checking on Dr. Dyer to see how he is doing. From his site I found out that he just got back from The Hay House, "I Can Do It Cruise" where he spoke about writing. So he's doing okay despite an astrology chart that is extremely difficult. You've got to give him credit for that -- just in case you don't think I give him any credit.
Reblog from December 1, 2009:
Dr. Dyer was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia this year. It's interesting that a man who spends his life telling people how to think has a disease many relate to harboring negative thoughts -- including me.
Looking at Dr. Dyer's chart, I notice that his natal Neptune is squaring his Moon and Mars. Squares always cause the energy to express negatively. So astrologically, this man lies. He's not lying that he has made a career (and a lot of money) telling us how to think. So what he is lying about? My professional opinion is that he is lying about letting go of negative childhood experiences. It's one thing to tell other people to do it and quite another to do it yourself.
Does this make him a hypocrite? I would say, not regarding his teaching. Just because you know what you should do, does not make it easy to do. He has probably tried all his life to let this baggage go. What he lied about to us (and very possibly himself) is that he hasn't let it go.
The hypocrital part comes from natal Venus (love) squaring Jupiter (the public). Deep down his has quite a lot of contempt for people in general. And because Venus is his natal focal planet he doesn't feel lovable or loved. Dr. Dyer is not the positive person he pretends to be or the person he aspires to be and wants us to be.
This is what I would say to anyone with cancer. Get to the root of the problem. Dr. Dyer needs to get honest about his own negativity. You can think positive all you want, but until you dig up that dirt and air it out, you're in denial.
The type of cancer he has is slow moving and often is not even treated. He will live 10 to 20 years typically, and he's already 69. What bothers me is the extremely negative chart he currently has. Progressed Mercury is conjunct his Pluto. And as we know, Pluto has to be involved for someone to die. Mars will square his progressed Jupiter and his progressed Sun will square natal Jupiter. Transiting Pluto is opposition his natal Venus. His progressed Moon (without the time, this is not exact) is opposing his progressed Sun.
Any progressed Mars square will twist your life into a pretzel. Therefore, I'm very concerned about Dr. Dyer's future. The next year should be very difficult. I've been told he's quite sick. So I'm wondering, has he lied to the public about when he got this cancer? That would be the true tragedy if his underlying dishonesty kept him from reaching out when it would have made a difference.
But don't cry for him. From the age of 30 to 45, he had a positive progressed Jupiter aspect. So whenever he leaves the material plane, he's had more than his fair share of luck.
UPDATE: "Parade Magazine" April 18, 2010 Wayne Dyer, "I don't think of it as cancer. It's chronic lymphocytic leukemia, not life-threatening, and it's been a great blessing in my life. We're all infinite spiritual beings having a temporary human experience. Find that within yourself."
